BIRMINGHAM, UK - 14th March 2005 - Conekt are pleased to announce that it will have a stand at the forthcoming Defence Vehicle Dynamics (DVD) Expo taking place at Millbrook Proving Ground, near Bedford, UK from 29th to 30th June this year.
The DVD Show is an annual vehicle show run by the Defence Procurement Agency's Specialist and Utility and Defence Vehicle's IPT, which very effectively brings together both industry and customers within the defence and emergency services environment.
This unique show provides the facilities for customers not only to view the products and services but also drive and assess the vehicles in a real environment - the world class driving facilities of Millbrook Proving Ground. The aim of DVD is to inform the equipment capability, acquisition and user community of the latest developments and products available. On display will be a diverse range of military, commercial and emergency vehicles as well as products which support and enhance them.
Conekt can be found on stand CC1 at the Show, where it will be displaying an extensive range of services and capabilities as well as showcasing some of its advanced technology demonstrators. These include Conekt's active steering wheel system as well as its composite suspension arm demonstrator. Conekt's composite suspension arm is an intelligent suspension system, composed principally of advanced fibre reinforced composite material, which provides both variable stiffness and damping.
