14 June 2006 - SHANGHAI, People's Republic of China - The engineering and consultancy arm of TRW Automotive Holdings Corp. TRW Conekt today announced that is it has formally opened a new office in Shanghai, People's Republic of China. 
The office, which is based in TRW's Asia Pacific Technology Centre, will support TRW's regional engineering activities in addition to delivering consultancy-based services to automotive companies throughout East Asia.
Mike Southwell, Conekt's general manager, commented, "The opening of the Shanghai office is a significant milestone in Conekt's development as an international technology consulting business. Our new facility will enable us address the product development needs of our customers in the region by deploying a local team of highly qualified engineers".
