BIRMINGHAM, UK - 5th October 2004 - Conekt, the engineering and consultancy arm of TRW Automotive, is pleased to announce it has been successful in the recent review of UKAS and ISO accreditations and certifications. Conekt's ISO certifications continue to include ISO 17025 accreditation and ISO 9001:2000, ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001 certifications.
Conekt received excellent feedback from both ISO and UKAS auditors in these areas as well as with regards to the company's AEMCLRP accreditation reviewed earlier this year. During the visit, the auditors commented that Conekt now operates a set of maturing processes, a good culture of seeking improvements and a well-maintained validation facility.

In addition to the renewal of both UKAS and ISO accreditations and certifications, Conekt has also retained A2LA certification for its EMC facility in Livonia, USA. The company looks to expand its test lab accreditations with the aim of developing a complete validation service for all of its customers.
