System Safety Conference 2011
TRW Conekt is exhibiting at The Institution of Engineering and Technology’s 6th International System Safety conference at the Holiday Inn in Birmingham 21 – 22 September 2011.
A full day of workshops is followed by two days of talks and technical presentations covering topics in the field of Systems Safety. These include hazard identification, road & rail transport safety topics and safety management techniques.
Key note speakers include Denis Fischbacher-Smith, Professor of Risk and Resilience, University of Glasgow, and Nancy Leveson Professor of Aeronautics and Astronautics and Professor of Engineering Systems, MIT.
Conekt will be exhibiting at the conference, highlighting capabilities and services it provides in enabling customers to successfully develop safety-critical products. The group has applied its system and safety engineering knowledge to the development of a wide range of complex systems such as Hydrogen Fuel Cell London Taxi, Electric Brake and Steering Systems, and Advance Driver Support Systems. Application to automotive domains forms a dominant part of the group’s portfolio but other domains are included.
