Electronic Control Units

Conekt has been developing electronics for the automotive industry, and other markets, for over 40 years. This real world experience has enabled Conekt to develop a general purpose Electronic Control Unit (ECU), perfectly suited for vehicle development and prototyping programmes, through to low-volume production.

CAN-Click1 is a multi-purpose ECU that is capable of processing many different types of communication, different digital and analogue inputs and outputs, and even controlling relatively large currents. It is ideally suited to acting as a communications gateway that also requires multiple types of input/output (I/O).

To enable the rapid integration of CAN-Click1 into new vehicle programmes it is supplied with software drivers and a USB connector, significantly reducing development effort when using this ECU for the first time. Conekt can also assist or develop applications for customers if required.

The CAN-Click 1 has impressive broad functionality and powerful processing capability.  During the development of CAN-Click 1 extensive in house environmental testing was undertaken to automotive standards.
