Sponsored industry lecture

BIRMINGHAM, UK - 23 February 2006 - The University of Leicester held its 8th Annual Industry Lecture at the Ken Edwards Buildings on Thursday, 2nd February.  This year's lecture was entitled 'The Design & Build of the World's Largest Passenger Aircraft - the Airbus A380' and welcomed guest speaker Rob Bray, A380 Wing Product Engineering Leader, Airbus UK. 

The event was a great success, attracting a significant interest, and Conekt was pleased to be a sponsor of the event.  Additional sponsors included ALSTEC, ALSTOM Aerospace and Rolls-Royce.
